Lisa received her B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Temple University. She has specialized in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women for the past 20 years. Lisa has a lot of experience with pelvic floor problems like having to go to the bathroom quickly, incontinence, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, Dyspareunia, and coccyx pain. She also knows how to deal with hormonal changes in women throughout their lives.
Lisa is a certified orthopedic clinical specialist and manipulative therapist, as well as a certified structural integrator (Rolfer), and she's proficient in the treatment of back, hip, and sacroiliac pain and dysfunction, especially when it comes to pelvic pain. The goal of treatment is to help women regain their overall wellness and full functional potential.
Lisa uses manual therapy to treat the whole body. She focuses on finding soft tissues that are hurting and diagnosing movement problems. She also helps patients learn about how to heal and stay healthy. Not only that, but she offers help to prevent, treat, and fix issues with the muscles and joints that are caused by the body's natural processes, hormones, and how things work. She also helps the patient find a way to feel better mentally and physically. Lisa has studied visceral manipulation through the Barrel Institute, and can address internal fascia, ligamentous, and organ adhesions to help improve and balance the functioning of the body. Lisa's patients get help with their recovery by learning about the reasons for their problems and doing movement awareness training with Lisa. This helps them feel better and prevent injuries and pain from happening again. Lisa has been a Teaching Assistant for the Herman and Wallace Institute’s Coccyx dysfunction, and the Institute of Physical Art as well as a primary instructor for Integrative manual therapy solutions.
Lisa and her husband Karl are very blessed with two daughters, Karli and Elizabeth.
